Gwendolyn and I would like to take this opportunity
to welcome you and your family into the New Joshua
church family. We hope that upon establishing
covenant with us that you are endowed with a spirit
of conviction and submission in helping us bring into
manifestation the vision that God has given me to
lead His people into a deeper relationship with Him;
thus acquiring His many promises.

Pastor,
Prophet, bridge builder, humanitarian,
artist, author, conference speaker. . . the
roles and compassion of Prophet Cedric Lee
Walker, Sr. are a road map to the ministries
of his church in Indiana and the ways in
which God uses him to touch lives far beyond.
As
a church consistently striving to exceed mediocrity,
we are providing you with this membership manual as a
means of performing God’s business in a manner
of excellence, integrity, and order. We hope
that it will provide you with knowledge and
uniformity in performing the daily operations of the
church according to the Word of God.
As the first family of this local assembly, we are
committed to a spirit of excellence. We both
hope and pray that through the grace of God we can be
a good example for you and your family.

of wisdom, wealth, and health. Therefore we

How
We Began…
Prophet
Walker was born in 1965 to Dr. & Mrs. Samuel
Walker, Jr. He graduated from Southside High School
in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he played running back
on the football team. Growing up as a
Pastor’s son, he was able to clearly see the
awesome and arduous responsibility of the pastorate.
After a brief period of resistance he received his
call into the ministry.
He and Lady Gwendolyn were joined as partners for
life June 11, 1988 and they have since been blessed
with four beautiful children: Tamika, Cedric
Jr., Cedreka, and Quinton Cedtrell. He entered
Taylor University to enhance his gift and only after
eleven months in the ministry, Prophet (then Reverend
Walker) was called to oversee his first pastorate at
Good Hope Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana where
he remained for the next seven years. He was
then called to pastor the New Sharron Baptist Church
in Collierville, Tennessee for the next three years
until receiving the news of his father’s failing
health. It was during this period of time that he
began to realize the special anointing on his life
and that his ministry was endowed with a spirit of
revelation. He accepted the call of a Prophet from
God to carry those revelations into the world.
Being
led of the Spirit, he resigned as pastor of New
Sharron to go and assist his father until he was
nursed back to health to carry out his
pastorate. It was during this period of his
ministry experience that Prophet Walker saw the need
for a ministry that would meet more than mere church
attendance and would take the local church to another
level. One that would not only just teach man about
God but would also teach him to be in a relationship
with God, thus giving him access to rights, benefits,
and privileges promised him in the word of God
through the anointing and covenant promises
(prosperity, joy, health, healing, and spiritual
empowerment). After long and prayerful
contemplation, Prophet Walker decided that this could
not be found in the traditional church setting.
He therefore founded New Joshua Full Gospel Church
International with a vision that centers on the
“anointing”, in-depth biblical teaching and
preaching, moral conduct, prosperity, healing,
prophecy, praise and worship, and manifesting the
five fold gifts of the church given to perfect your
life (Eph. 4:11,12).
New Joshua Full Gospel Church International was
founded on March 10, 2000. Our church fellowship
began with just 17 members and has experienced
significant grwoth within the span of two years. We
were also blessed within that same year to have
celebrated the elevation of our Pastor, Prophet
Walker to District Overseer of Northeast Indiana of
the Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship under the esteemed
leadership of Presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton.
